Topic: Favorite Protein??
Howdy,

Just wondering what your favorite protein is?? I may have asked it already but.....

I just tried my Click free sample last week that I have had for over 1 yr!! I was afraid to try it due to the caffiene in it. The double shot of expresso was scarey!! Well.....it was delish!! I made it cold over ice with a tad of vanilla flavored creamer and it was awesome. No caffiene effects at all!! I immediatly ordered a container and had another iced CLICK today!!

If you haven't tried it yet I sugest you do. Small container $20. Only 15 g protien but YUMMY!
Haven't tried the Vanilla Latte flavor yet but I will.

So what are your favorite protein shakes??

Deb,

Thanks for the info! That is good to know. At my next appt I will ask about it.
I certainly don't have money to use for PS but I would love to find out and give me an idea.

Enjoy your meeting ....and dinner,

 HI

I am sitting at AMC South Campus waiting for my weekly support group to start. Love going. If for nothing else I am meeting people with the same struggles as me. Tonight we are going out for dinner afterwards. Should be a ton of fun.

As for the plastics - I am not ready yet but I plan on getting the belly and girls done at some point. I've heard that if you are going to have to pay cash that going to Albany Med's residency program is a good way to get it done. There is always an experienced doctor present and it is quite discounted as you are providing a service. One of my group members had tummy and girls done through them and she looks FAB!! As for cost - no clue, but I think it was about half what she would have paid if she had gone elsewhere.

Have a great evening!! Deb

I'm fairly new to the site... I have a surgery date of Nov 1st... but I don't want to wait that long! How did you pass the time while waiting for surgery?

Hello NY friends,

How is everyone this week??
I am feeling a little tired as I am winding down with summer school. I also need to have my labs done and call to check on my next appt at WLS office. I would like to make an appt with a PS to see what I will have to do to get my thighs done. I am sure it will be alot but a girl can get an estimate ....right??

Any of you local folks had PS?? What, where and about how much are we talking??

OMG! I ate enough cookie dough making goodies that I can just about vomit!

Doesn't bother me enough to never touch it again though!!

Does sugar bother you guys?

I am baking goodies for the kids tomorrow and chocolate chip cookie bars for my kids at home. I have had enough cookie dough to make me wanna vomit!

I am so excited!  Today is the first day in years that I'm going to the Great Escape.  It's "Hero's Week" so teachers (me!), EMT's, Veterans, etc get in free.  I'm going with a couple of teacher friends.  I am so looking forward to being able to walk around without having to find a bench all the time.  And, I can actually go on the water rides.  I used to always be over the weight limit.  So pumped!  Now just to avoid the fried stuff and get a dinner that an ok choice.. bringing protein bars just incase!

Hi Christine!
I was in the thinking about it stage for like 8yrs (although most of that was thinking about it, without insurance..) If there's any questions you have or want to see what it's like for real life, just ask :)
Knowing people who have had it that you can really ask questions of makes a big difference!

I had mine at Albany Medical Center. You are the only other person from Washington County that I have seen post here. There are a couple of other close locals tho.

Catch you soon, Deb
