Viv,
You are not crazy hun, it is scary for us ALL...OMG when I had to start to wear things that did NOT cover up my whole body it was scary and I am still getting used to wearing shirts that do not cover my butt.
This is a major change in our lives and it is things that we are not comfy with at this point so it does take some time to get used to dressing differently but once you start to get used to i****CH OUT...I love going shopping now but still have to watch the money.
Hun get some new clothes and then take a pic of yourself in the new outfit! It really does help to SEE the new you and I bet it will help your depressed feeling.
You are going to love the changes but once you get used to them.
~hugs~ Keep us posted!!

I too had a problem with getting rid of my old clothes. Now you want to hear CRAZY? I had most of them taken in! It was so ridiculous that the pockets in the back of some pants were almost next to each other. Needless to say I didnt wear them, and had to buy new clothes. You are not crazy, you are just dealing with the emotions of your journey. Trust me I know exactly how you feel, I went from an 18 to a size 6-8. I now feel FAT when I buy a size 8 or 10.....ITS NOT THE NUMBER, its the person that is in the clothes that matters!

Hey Vee what you are going through is totally normal. Just like when someone dies, you go through the motions. Right now you are grieving for the old you. It was a comfort zone for all of us. We were the fat girls in the room. No expectations, no worries because we were practically ignored. Now we are comming out of our shells. People are actually looking at us. We are actually stopping in the mirror and looking at ourselves. It is a totally scary thing. But you have to learn to embrace it. Inside you are still the old Vee but the difference now is people are noticing the Vee on the outside. I know its not right people do this to us, but it is a fact of life. If you would have seen me in the dressing room with my daughter the other day. She was trying on some jeans. They were a size six. After she tried them on and they fit ok i said what the hell let me try, i squeezed myself into them and i didnt know what to feel. I first looked at my daughter with her mouth hitting the floor, then i felt like crying, then started freaking dancing and jumping up and down. You will get to this point where you want to scream to the world. Some people just take a little longer mouring the old self. I am here, you know my email, ever want to talk.....
