Home from Hospital today!!!

HI all, I'm home from the hospital today. Doing quite well, a little sore,but so far so good. Everything went fine with surgery. Didn't have much time to thing about it as my surgery time was put ahead from 2:00 to 12:00. Also my mom was taken to hospital before I had my surgery. So April 3rd was a big blurr. Mom is since home and doing better, but It's only time. She 85 and has a bad heart. That is one reason I wanted this surgery. I don't want to have a heart condition or diabeties. I want to thank all you wonderful people on this board and the over 50 board. I never thought at my age I could have this surgery. Now everything is over and I can start losing weight. Thank again everyone!!!

Congratulations on your successful surgery, Judy - you already began losing once you were off the table. REst, sip water, walk alot. Keep us posted on your progress. it will amaze you at times. LindaM

Judy, Congrats hun... Glad all is well and now get your rest ...Make sure you get your water and take your protein and vitamins... Also walking is good for you as well..... Sorry to hear about your Mom hun but glad she is come and doing well right now.... ~hugs~ Debra P

Hi Judy, Glad to hear you are home and doing well. Today is my 1 week anniversary and I feel great. I, too, am the caregiver for my Mom and did this so I would be around to help her and to be healthier. Kelly
