yet another insurance question

Does anyone know if the insurance company has a required time frame to approve or disapprove the surgery?

I just posted the same question? I have been waiting sind mid January for a "yes" or "no" answer from my local/magnacare and nothing. I was wondering if their is an insurance law? Whats your story? hugs, lisa
