In New Rochelle...Soundshore Medical Center Hospital....Dr. Mafucci and Dr. Rangraj (spelling?)...The secretary's name is Judy...And Peggy is the Dr's Asst....They are the best there...Feel free to use my name, Lynda Martin. Just call the hospital and ask for Bariatrics. I would refer them to everyone. Any help just let me know. I had Medicaid and they paid for all of it. Good Luck. Lynda

Hi Diana My surgeon is: Miguel R. Silva, M.D. 1554 Astor Ave. Bronx, NY 10469 718-881-7800 I know he's not considered lower Westchester but he's down by Jacobi Med Center off Pelham Parkway so it's not too far. I don't know if he accepts Medicare & Medicaid but he's a wonderful doctor. Melody in Yonkers

My doctor is also Miguel Silva. As someone else stated he is located in the bronx near Gun Hill Rd, and he does accept Medicaid. Most of his affiliates are located in the upper bronx area as well.

Hi I also recommend the Sound Shore group in New Rochelle. I had a totally good experience, and the program has achieved "excellence" status. No deaths to date, which was a plus as far as I was concerned (duh!) and nice people to work with. Feisty Emm
