colonoscopy!

Hello all! Ok it is time. I have been bugged into getting a colonoscopy done this coming Weds. to make sure everything is alright down there. I have postponed this stupid colonoscopy three times already. Blahhh!! I am getting hit from every end and the surgeon goes in and makes new holes! I am so not looking forward to this. I can care less about getting a thingie up my rear it's more all the nasty stuff you have to drink and the cramps I am going to get "cleansing myself" Maybe the GI doctor will find the surgeon up there while he is looking. Well first of all good luck.....second don't want to be rude but the visual of the surgeon up someone's behind has me hystericall all I picture is a rearend and someones feet sticking out of it.....I know I have a crazy sence of humor....sorry I had to share. Pat

Tavia ask Dr. Herman if you can take the pills to clean you out instead of drinking that nasty stuff. That's what I did. It's alot of pills to take (about 32 of them all together I think), but was really very easy. You'll still be running to the toilet, so close stay close, but I didn't even get cramps. He may have a reason why he doesn't want you to do it that way, but it can't hurt to ask.... right? I got your message the other night and I've tried to call you back, but no luck. I even left a message on your machine. Joanne

Hey Joanne, Unfortunately I can't swallow pills let alone 32 of them! They get stuck in my roux limb and I retch until they come flying out of me. *sigh* Thanks for letting me know though. Poopy drink here i come. I will try to give you a call this weekend, ok. Take care. Tavia

Tavia sweetie , Oh girl , I really feel for you ! I know exactly how you feel when it comes to those dreadful colonoscopy's ! I have had 2 of them in 2 yrs. time and I get so sick as you already know ! You have listened to me whine about the last one I had ! I wish you luck , sweetie !
