DrDanReiner Do You Know Him?

Hi Gang, I am a bit embarrassed to admit, but had anyone had Dr Dan Reiner perform their surgery? I had met with this physican in Oct./05 only once. He seems likeable and knowedgeable about lap band surgery. However that is my only interaction with him. I had been so busy with getting all my testing completed. And then focused on getting a surgery date....Yeah..May 1st... Had anyone used him or known of anyone that had. I would appreciate your opinions... Thanks for any help ....Susan

I've never heard of him. I did a search on American Society for Bariactric Surgery (ASBS) for doctors who are members. His name is not on the list. Here's the link. http://www.asbs.org/cgi-bin/membertest1.pl Have you asked all of your questions and got the answers that you wanted? Did you ask how many weight loss surgeries he has done? Below is another link to the ASBS, which tells what the criteria is for membership. One of the requirements is that the doctor must have performed at least 25 bariactric procedures as the primary surgeon within the past two years. http://www.asbs.org/html/about/membership.html I hope this helps you with your questions.
