WOOHOO, news worth posting! Hooray for me!
Hello all!
I know I've been MIA. Things had been 'tuff and I had been somewhat depressed while being on a stall that lasted almost 3 months... I honestly thought I was done losing and would never go below 186 (lowest up until 3/12)...
[[[a little background on the above: (from my profile page) Well, as of 1/24/06 I've been stuck between 195.5 and 192.6 since 12/29/05 (a month already!) I have started the Plateau Buster diet today and we'll see at the end of the 10-day diet how I'm doing. DARN PLATEAUS!
UPDATE 3-1-06: After 2+ months, I'm finally under 190...geez, I thought I was done losing--phew!] I then went on for the next 2+ weeks between 190 and 186... You all know how frustrating this is...]]]
Now, THANK GOD! I finally have good news to share, so here it is...
::::drum roll please::::
WELL, WELL, WELL...As of today (3/23) I am 29 lbs away from my surgeon's goal (150) and 44 lbs away from my personal goal (135??)...WOOHOO!! After the prolonged stall for the past (almost) 3 months, I have lost 10 lbs in the last 11 days! This is AMAZING! and the best thing, I FEEL TERRIFIC!
Thank you all for letting me share...
HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
Dolly

Dolly,
Yayyyy for you!!!! That is great...It's amazing to have a goal in such close reach!!!! You go girl!!! Did you do something different to drop that 10 pounds? I've been hovering around the same weight for about 2 months.....boy does it get frustrating. I probably should be consistent with exercise...which I am not.
Yayy for your husband too!!! (boy those darn men lose sooo fast)!!!!
Have a terrific day!!
Janean
Hey Janean!!
Thanks, hun.
I went to meet my nutritionist one week ago; we went over what I had been doing/eating...she said that other than limiting my carbs intake to not more than 80g per day, everything else I was doing seemed to be fine. Oh yeah, and she suggested I upped my exercise (which I still haven't much). So I continue to eat between 800-1100 cals per day, up to 80g of carbs, and try to walk on the treadmill for (at least) 15 minutes every day. To be honest, I really haven't been doing much differently than I did the past 3 months, except that I haven't been taking the protein drink and I'm trying to get my protein from foods now. So, I don't know where the change is coming from. I'm actually a little concerned with how fast I've lost the last 10 lbs. I guess I got used to bouncing back and forth within the same 5 lbs for so long that know it seems strange that I'm losing so fast...I must just be
Have a wonderful day!
Dolly
