Nectar Protein mix

I'm having my surgery (lap band) on Mar. 28th, so I've been sampling different protein powders. So far I can't stand the taste of any of them. I've just finish drinking Nectars Lemon Tea, though I hate the smell, it taste pretty good. What I want to ask is, is it normal for my tummy to hurt? I had to bring it up to fell better It also made me belch a lot. Has anyone else had this issue? My doc wanted me on liquids and protein for 3wk min. I gotta find something that I can stick with. I'd appreciate any and all help

Marlo, Do you dirnk it fast? Are you drinking it all at once? Slowly, & put it in fridge if its too much at one sitting. The Fuzzy Navel is good in juice. TryProtein Delight vanilla Pineapple is great in skim mild, all of them taste good. Linda

I agree with Linda drinkit slower sips, I drink the lemonade it not bad but I don't think it's great either.... I also drink the champion pure whey protien that one is really good.....it comes in different flavors I like vanilla and once in a while I drink the chocolate...... I wish you the best throught out your journey to a healthier and happier lifesyle... Christine

Hi, First, good luck on your surgery--I hope it is uneventful and that your recovery is a speedy one. As for Nectar --I like the pina colada and the strawberry kiwi--but I LOVE the Fuzzy Navel. Marlo: The nectars are whey protein isolate, meaning rapidly absorbed, one of the highest quality proteins BUT some people get queasy w/ that...Have you tried a whey protein concentrate or blend of conc/isolate?
