It has gotten worse!

Hi Janean! I know it has been beyond a nightmare. I feel so terrible for what I have done to my family(not that is was my fault or anything) just guilt b/c this was my decision and it has back fired on all of us. My husband worries about me every second, the bills never stop and my son thinks my job is going to doctors and being in the hospital...because that is what this all has become. My sons pre-school teacher told me how they were discusing how this other little boy in his class mother gave birth and was in the hospital for a couple of days. She said my son said that "my mommy goes to the hospital but she gets boo-boos on her tummy." That was very heart breaking to hear. It is very hard to do anything else but deal with this. I try to focus on other things but this stupid problems creeps up daily in one way or another. I try to eat what I know I can so I dont cause symptoms to come out but they usually do at some point. blah. Thank you for your support! How are you?!? Tavia

Hey Tavia. Im new to all this so I dont really know what to say. I have been reading about your situation and I gotta tell you....Girl you have gotta be the most tolerant person in the world!! lol. I would be screaming from the roof tops by now. I have an idea. You mentioned that your sick of all the doctors talking about your problems all the time.Well why dont you give them something else to talk about...How about running naked through the hospital next time your there. And to make it better...be singing some outrageous song while your doing it. That should keep there attention for awhile. lol Im sorry...i dont mean to joke when you are feeling so bad, but I can hear your frustration and thought maybe you could use a smile. I hope things get better. You are a wonderful source of information and support to all of us newbies. Take care. Karen

Hi Karen, Ha. Thanks for the suggestion. I have on occasion said to the surgeon, 'cant we talk about something else' and he does. The conversation usually shifts to something about his terror of a 3 year old daughter (whom is almost to the day the age of my son) did. I understand this guy isnt suppose to be my friend, but it is what it is and it does make everything a whole lot easier. I truly am the most compliant patient and I am beginning to think this is part of my problem. He says I'm super patient, but I dont want to be that anymore. I am going into retirement and want to collect my pension. Thanks and take care. Tavia

Tavia, I'm feeling so bad for you.I wish there was something I could do for you.I wouldn't wish your pain and suffering on anyone.I don't know how you can take all this.You are very strong and positive as you can be.Please stay that way so you can get through this.You deserve to be healthy and happy.Your very lucky to have such a sweet supportive husban to help keep you strong.I genuinally care about your health and happiness as do many others on the board,so don't feel your boring us with your problems b/c we are here for you.I think you should take a little break from all of this if you can.then you can deal with this head on.(you know,get a second wind).I prayed for you and here is a ((((((HUG))))))))).Take care Darlene

Darlene, Thanks for your words of encouragement! I am glad to hear that I am not boring you, heehee. My problems are dragging on forever and ever. It is really comforting to read how well lots of you guys are doing but at the same time it is like when do I get my break too? Sheesh! At least I do have a brea****il next monday when I see the surgeon AGAIN. Take care.
