New To the Boards From The Rochester NY Area...

welcome on being a loser now too. I had my surgery done on Nov 16th 05 in Rochester by Dr Boss(Dr O's partner) I am in rocherster once a month for Nututrion(sp?) so if ya ever want to meet up at the hospital or ? drop me an email. as for the support group in Rochester i don't go i started one here in Oswego(where we live now) or i would have to drive 2hrs there and 2hrs back. hugs Nikki

I live in Rochester.Welcome to the board.You will get so much info here and support.I'm so thankful for this site.I'm going to have surgery with Dr.Boss at Highland Hospital.If I ever get that far.I went to the seminar,saw the shrink ,my doctor sent in her paper work months ago. I'm working with the nutritionist now.I was disapionted the last time I saw her b/c she wants me to come back again for the fifth time.This fifth appiontment I couldn't get for 2 1/2 months.I have lost 15 lbs so far.I hope she aproves me the next time I go.You are doing great with your weight loss!I looked at your profile.What a little sweetie your daughter is!I have an 11 year old daughter . She is the best thing to ever happen to me.I'm hoping wls will be the second best thing to ever happen to me.Well I'm looking forward to hearing from you.Darlene

Hi krista!! I live in E. Irondequoit. I had surgery with Dr. Boss at Highland on 11/15/04. I have lost 155 pounds so far. Have definately stalled the past few months but that is okay. Highland is great!!! I also work in Lakeville, just down the road from geneseo. I have not been to the meetings at Highland but I have been to the meetings at Park Ridge. They are not affiliated with the hospital that just happens to be where they are. Wonderful group. feel free to email me with any questions. Janet
