leg cramps anyone?
Hi Tavia,
Just another suggestion - I had/have leg cramp problems too and my surgeon said it might be restless leg syndrome. She, along with my PCP, told me to drink about 4 ounces of Tonic water about 1/2 hour before I go to bed - the quinine in the tonic water would help. Unbelievable, but it does help - I'm able to sleep through the night with no problems. I drink the diet tonic water. You can also buy quinine pills over the counter and they seem to work too.
Have a good day.

I had my first experience with leg cramps last night. I woke up at 3am with a horrible pain by my left ankle. I was trying to work it out and it was so tight and even making cracking sounds! Eventually I had to get up and walk it off up and down my apartment. I still have not incorporated fruit into my diet, as with the protein I just don't have room! I guess I will try to eat a banana (or 1/2) with my breakfast to see if this helps. I've been doing OKAY with my water, but not great. I will try to be more aware of this also.

Hi.
I too cannot have carbonation but my surgeon recommended pouring it in the morning and letting it sit until evening, either in the refrigerator or just let it sit out. For the few times I've forgotten, I just keep stirring it until 3/4 of the carbonation is gone. It really works wonders for me. If you try it, let me know how it works for you.
Have a great day.
