Highland Hospital's New Department of Surgery, Bariatric Center

HI, I went for my six month check-up with Dr. Boss yesterday and got to see Highland's new Department of Surgery, Bariatric Center. It is great. It is so much bigger. The exam room was much larger as was the examination table. It Opened Oct 3rd from what I was told. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. But it was nice to still see Tammy there. I wasn't sure what to expect when I received a call to tell me how to get to the new department. I was pleasantly surprised. The check-up went well. I am down 46 lbs since surgery (slow but a steady loss) and have about 55 more to lose to be in Dr. Boss' target range for me. Well, Have nice day. Burt

CONGRATULATIONS on your 46 lbs gone since surgery! THATS awesome! I bet you will be at that target weight in no time at all. GLAD to hear the new office impressed you of your surgeon! Hey I was there yesterday at 9:30 am for my 5 week check up and you're right - nice digs - . I asked Tammy what part of it I paid for . The exam beds are much larger. I wonder if the beds on the floor for after surgery are bigger?? Congrats on your weight loss. Micha

Micha, Thank you. We must have just missed each other. I was there at 10:00 am. It is always fun to talk with Tammy. I don't know if the beds on the floor are bigger or not. I do know that they had a few of the larger beds. One of my roommates (during one of my stays there. well my roommate before they moved me. I was on precautions.) had one.
