Lisa,
This is just something that happens, we can do things to help it some from not falling out but for the most part, it will happen because we are losing so much weight so fast. I know one thing is not washing your hair every day helps some, trying a lighter mouse to help fullness and maybe some other products.
hang in there hun and know that it will not last forever... ~hugs~

HEY LISA!!!
i posted on this recently in the JUNE surgery room and seems to happen to most patients no matter who took and used what products.
I know i took the biotin for months before surgery till now and its not helping, i heard some used expensive protein shampoos and other supplements but its still happening. SO i think there is nothing but patience i learned....
THE best news is everyone says it will grow back in.
I know i personally feel that if it continues at this rate
i will be bald for CHRISTMAS.

Hiya Lisa,
I had that problem as well. My surgeon recommeded Zinc. The Zinc capsules irritated my stomach very badly after taking it a few days so I stopped even though it did help tremendously. GNC does sell Zinc lozenges that melt under your tongue and dont irritate the stomach - I would suggest giving them a try.
God bless you and keep you,
~Andrea
Lisa no matter what products you take or use the hair falling out is part of the process of WLS.....for me it started around 3 months out and my hair became so thin that people asked me is your hair thining or was it always like that.....well nobody that I work with knows that I had WLS so I told them it just from losing weight.....and it has happened to me before when I diet......well I am going on 9 months out and it has stoop fallen out and is starting to grow back in....thank god.....I do use the bari- shampoo and condition, I take GNC hair formula and keep up your protiens.....there really isn't anything you can do to stop it cause like I said it is part of WLS process....
Have a great day hun
Christine
