WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
Mery,
You are NOT a failure. There are many roadblocks in our life and you've hit a small one but don't ever give up hope.
You fought hard to get where you are. I know I don't "know" you, but the decision to have WLS is not an easy one to start with and you had the courage to proceed so please don't be too discouraged about this setback.
Are you keeping track of your food/protein intake? If so, and everything looks good, maybe you should check with your surgeon to see if there is a problem.
I wish I knew the words to help you through this time, but please know we are all behind you and will help in any way.
I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Bye for now.

Mery,
Oh please dont beat yourself up and cry another night. Weight flucuates all the time...maybe you had heavier clothes on this time, or maybe your retaining water.....I think back to basics sounds like a good idea. There is a post from MF from a couple of days ago...she is going to be doing the same thing. Maybe you want to hook up with her.
Take care, and feel better....the fall is a great time to go walking...maybe that would jump start things.

Mery,
Hun please do not think you have failed.. ~Hugs~ Every scale is different and there are sooooo many resons why our weight goes up and down! As long as your keeping track and eating right then there is nothing to worry about hun. We all makes bad choices and knowing we have we just need to get back on track. (easier said then done I know!!!)
Hun take a deep breath and start from the basics again... I know I am still kind of new to this but that is what I would try to do and maybe it might just help.... ~hugs~
Please let us know how you are doing, join us for "what did you eat", maybe that will give you a clue to some things you are eating and not really paying attention to. I know for me seeing it down in writting sure helps keeping me on track, some what.
Take care hun ~hugs you tight~ ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/kiss.gif)
I wish you the very best!

Hi Mery:
I'm not a year out yet, but from what I have read on this site and in some WLS books I have here, it is not at all unusual to gain a small percentage of your weight back after the honeymoon period. I'm sure your appt with your surgeon will confirm this and give you some new strategies for this period.
Hang in there!
Susan
