Tavia, I'm thinking maybe it's an ulcer....when I start "thinking" about everything I feel it burn even more. Before my surgery I had an ulcer that I took nexium for to clear it up...maybe I'll start taking it again. I dont know what to do...it's a crappy feeling not to have a surgeon to call, but as I said to Debra, I'm afraid of getting rejected... Anyway, you dont worry about me...your going through enough of your own "crap"......( so the drink worked!)...I'm sure your feeling a bit of a relief. Janean

Have you seen a GI doctor before? You must have b/c you have to get an endocscopy done before your surgery. Go make an appt. to see him/her and tell them what is going on. They are the ones who can help you anyway. He/she probably will want to take a look down w/the scope to see what is going on and if it is an ulcer. That is all your surgeon would tell you to go do anyway if you went to see him.

Janean, Hun Tavia is right, your pouch should not be burning all the time! I know the stress that you are under right now is maybe adding to this so I would try and work this out or do something to get rid of what you can. ~Hugs~ Also I would be researching another surgeon that you can have follow up visits with for this kind of thing! Take care Debra P

Janean, Hun I know it is hard for you right now with all that is on your plate but your health is VERY important so please look for another surgeon. If you want the one that my cuz used and Lisa from this board is a very good surgeon and I am sure there are many in your area. Do you want me to get his name and number for you? ~hugs~ Debra P

Blanquie, I'm so sorry to hear that you are still feeling so lousy. Depression is a common thing after surgery...maybe you need something to get you through this time...Have you spoken to a dr.? I hope you feel better soon. Janean
