A Dr. and a DATE!!!!!

After a year and half into this slow going journey...I now have a surgery date of October 5th. I have decided to go with Dr. Graber out of New Hartford. I was seeing Dr Graneiro, but have decided to have Dr Graber do the surgery Lap. It's less than a month away! There are no surgeons in my area that do the wls anymore, so i have to travel 2 hours to get there. But soon...SOON, I will be a LOSER!!! WooooHooooo!!!

CONGRATULATIONS BONNIE You must be sooooo excited ! I am so happy for you .....GIRL! I know of a freind that had surgery with Dr. Graber and she was very happy with him . She had her surgery back in January and she has already lost 150lbs ! She is doing great ! October 5 th isn't far off so I bet you are nervous ...HUGH ? Just keep a positive attitude and we here at OH will give you all the support we possibly can ! You can count on that !! Don't be a stranger ..keep us posted on how you are doing ...Okay? Hi Bonnie!! Congrats!!! I have Dr. Graber also and my surgery date is Oct 27. You will do wonderful!!! His office staff was wonderful. Susane is so nice. She had the surgery also. She looks wonderful! Take care!! You will be riding those pounds away before you know it!!! Andrea

Thank you so much, and congrats to you too! It's funny how you put the horse in there...my parents own a riding stable. Can't wait to go riding again with my kids!

Congratulations on the date. Hopefully the excitement is overwhelming. I can't wait for mine but I still have at least a month before I find out anything. My doc is about 3 1/2 hours in Long Island. Capital area just doesn't seem to have the interest that the larger metro areas have although maybe more will be generated soon. A year and a half, wow! and I thought I was slow at 3 months into the process. Best of luck. You know we all pray for a quick recovery. May I ask if you will be staying with anyone for any period of time after your surgery or will you be going home? I still have this decision to make.

I'm going home, it's lap so it should not be too bad. I hope. I have never been away from my kids that long. And my parrot will miss me too. It will probably feel like it's taking forever to get home, but I'll deal with it. Best of luck to you too, and I hope it doesn't take you so long. Thanks so much for the prayers! CONGRADULATIONS ....I traveled four hours away for my surgery and it was well worth the drive......I would have piloted a rocket ship to the moon for these type of results
