Choice of Hospital?

Hello everyone, I have a question about hospitals. Anyone from Albany Ny area? I have just received my screening appointment.Does anyone know why most of these surgeries are done at Albany Med? I saw that Dr Singh has done this at St Peters and I would prefer going there but I can't find much info.I would appreciate any input. Thanks, Janet

Hi Janet, I live in Clifton Park! Dr Singh is the head of the Dept for minimally invasive surgery at Albany Med. Thats why he mainly does his surgery there but I know he also has OR time at St Peters. I think he mainly schedules for Albany med. I would suggest talking to him about it. I can't really help too much. Dr Lirio at Ellis Hospital did my surgery. I looked into Dr Singh but I liked Dr Lirio better plus he is a family friend. Thanks Michelle! I have my 1st screening the 27th of September. I have so much to check into as you well know. How long ago did you have your surgery? Are you doing alright? which type did you have? I hope you don't mind me asking you these questions. Thanks for the info, Janet
