Hi, I would like to know if anyone knows about any weight loss support groups that are in Manhattan>>>Lower East Side>>>>Village... It is a required by my doctor that I must attend two before he can schedule a date for surgery.... Thanks

Hi Jasmine: There is a support group every 1st of the month in Mt. Sinai in NYC. It starts at 6pm and it ends at 8pm. I just went to my first one and it was very informative. I hope you can attend. Jasmine, Are there any associated with your surgeon's practice? The benefit of attending that one is that you can get information on the hospital experience, etc. I had my surgery at Cornell, and we have a support group meeting the first Wednesday of each month. The meeting is open to everyone.
