One more test down

Well, I had my abdominal sonogram this morning and the tech said everything looks good. The doctor will write up his findings and send them over to the surgeon this afternoon. I'm going to my last required support group tonight and I have my phsychological on the 15th. I'm a little conserned with the phsychological since I've never seen a pshychiatrist before, I don't know what to expect. I'm a little bummed because I will be finished with all of my pre-testing (prior to going for insurance approval) on the 15th, but can't get an appointment to see my surgeon for his second consiltation (to get a surgery date****il Oct. 4th. That's a whole two weeks waisted, with nothing to do but drive myself crazy. I'm wondering how far out from my second visit with the surgeon will he appointment me a surgery date. I know that after I'm given the date I have to see my primary care physician to get a medical clearance. Oh well, nothing I can do, but wait. What can I expect at the phsychological evaluation? Patricia, hello hun ~hugs~ That is great that you are one step closer, I can remember that feeling awesome. I know I was starting to feel better about myself every time I moved forward some. The phyc eval is pretty quick, well it was for me. I guess every Dr is different but it was really just some talking about the surgery and what I expect. I showed that I understood the risks and the way it will go and they were fine with that. I wish you the best hun, that Dr was one of the easiest so relax and enjoy your chat with him/her.
