Very Excited

Hey everyone, call me silly but I only have 7 more days before I go to my WLS seminar and 8 more days until I have my physical with the surgeon. Can anyone tell me what I should expect from the surgeon. I have one small problem, I have an opportunity to start a new job Oct. 1st, does anyone think it's possible to have surgery sometime in early September (bearing that HIP approves me quickly, my BMI 52.2) so that I can start my new job as the new me. If not I will have to put off surgery and find a surgeon near home instead of near work. I work 70 miles from home and it was just easier to find one here and not have to take full days off for appointments. I'm also conserned about the psycological. I've never been in therapy or have seen a psychiatrist before, having someone analyze my answers to questions worries me.

I know for me it took a few months as i had to get surgery clearnaces from many other specialists before i had a surgery date. I had the to see the following: recommendation from Primary doctor Cardiologist Pschiatric evaluation Gall Bladder Songram Endoscopy Pulmonary Specialist It took me two months to have the clearance from all these specialists prior to booking my sugery. From this board i learn every doctor is different but these appointments are important to make sure your in the finest of health pre op! GOOD LUCK LISA

Patricia, Hun as Lisa stated, all Dr's are different on the time and way they approve you so it might take a little more then 1 month to get things going and have a date.
