Surgery Tomorrow. See you on the Losing Side.
Well folks, it's about time. My surgery is tomorrow. It is 9:15 pm and I haven't eaten since breakfast (low-carb slimfast) and I am doing okay. I have received lots of last-minute phone calls well-wishing me and puting me on the prayer list. I am greatful and believe it or not I have a great peace. This whole journey has progressed through prayer and all the doors have opened without a struggle to this point. I know I have the Great Healer Himself with me and so I cannot ask for anything more. I have faith that while I am in surgery the Lord's Angels will be with me when I am asleep and will coax me back when it is time to wake up. I know the Lord will guide my surgeon's hands. So until then, I bid you farewell until I return. 4:00 am comes very quickly for me to be up to leave for the hospital. God Bless you all and I'll see you either on the Losing Side or the Other Side.
