Support groups on LI? :fairy:

I am looking for a support group run on long island? I sometimes go tot he one inriverhead central suffolk but its too far to go.Anyone know of one closer than riverhead?? Or anyone thinking of runnning a support group from their home? I live in Coram KC 305/167/150 Swedish Lap Band

There is also a support group at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip every other Sat morning from 9-10:30. I can email you the info if you are interested. Not sure if it is too far from you. Dee

Hi everyone, I have a support group meeting at the Middle Country Library in Suffolk County. We meet on the fourth Friday of the month. Here are the dates for the next five meetings and the information for the library: August 26th September 23rd October 28th November 25th December 23rd The Friday night meetings will be held in the Foundation room. Dawn OHHHHH GOOD GOING DAWN..U finally got to ONE message board before ME LOL!! Duh when is that next meeting again? ..Had I known there is one at Good Sam.. I lived next door to GS for 4 yrs, so I will have to check that out one saturday.. Dawn wish me luck- I have to do an a colonoscopy this Tuesday, they are looking for blood loss..I am anemic.. The directions from my surgeon say take these huge ass Iron pills 2x daily..the directions for the colonoscopy say take NO iron pills..LOL its the Benz for me..wi**** was a Mercedes Benz. Hi KC, I don't know where Coram is, but I am in Nassau County. South Nassau Communities Hospital has support groups that meet at least monthly. I don't know when, but you could call them and find out. They are in Rockville Center or Oceanside...I am not sure which! BTW...great job on the weight loss!!! Donna
