Roll Call who's here
Hi Christine,
Wow!!!! you are doing great with your weight loss!! I'm not weighing myself at home so I'm not too sure where I am at. I have my Dr. appointment on Thursday and I'm anxious to see. At my 5 week check up I was down 26 pounds and now it's been another 5 weeks so I dont really know what to expect.
I'm looking forward to being under 200 also!!! I'll be so happy...it's been a long time.
I started really walking a week ago...before it was kind of strolling, but now it is a "real" walk at the track. I'm going every other night.....sometimes it's tough after work, and then I come home to kids, and dinner, and driving them places, but I'm making a point that the older girls have certain days they have to be home at 7pm for an hour so I can walk.....at times I would rather sit on the couch, but I soooo dont want to much flab, plus I do know it's the "right" thing to do. It's hard for me to understand how some people "love" to exercise, for me it's an effort....maybe in time it will be different.
Anyway, have a great weekend.
Love,
Janean
Hi Janean
I have to weigh myself at home since I have only seen my surgeon once since surgery.....so I feel I have to take care of me since the after care with him is not so great but I manage......
I am glad you have some help at home so you can go walk that is good, I don't have anyone at home to help me with the little ones so I do my 2 mile power walk durning my lunch and I really feel good afterwards....
I know what you mean about others liking exercise I'm with you on that I never enjoyed it myself....but when you start seeing the weight melt off it gets easier as long as you have the kids covered.....I joined curves only cause they were willing to accommedate my kids either they had to come with me or I wasn't joining You might want to try walking during your lunch and then eat at your desk since you really don't eat that much anyway....
let us know how it goes at the doc's I'm sure you are doing great and don't even know it....
