Kristen, Hello hun...~hugs~ I thought the same thing hun but as I can out I do not remember it but my hubby said I told the nurse when she asked what my pain number was that I said it was a 6. So they gave me something right away but I can not remember that.... So I was worried for nothing.... Enjoy your day even if you are stuck at work.....~hugs~ Debra P

Good morning - the first day of SUMMER!!! YAY! Since I am pre-op for a few more weeks...hmmm I haven't thought about the worst part of recovery, I am still trying to get past the evil insurance approval..lol Have a great day all! -Dee

Oh yes Debra I remember the food commercials.. Especially the pizza hut dip sticks... I craved it all.. But now I am better.. LOL ~HUGS~ Cathy

Hey Deb, Louis checking in. Still Pre-op but real close. Spoke to Surgeon yesterday he told me Cardiologist and Nutritionist havent faxed papers yet so I went to their offices caused a scene and got the papers and faxed them myself this AM. I have one Dr. left. the Psch Dr. which my Appt is on 6/28/05. After that my Surgeon siad its about 1-21 weeks for Approval and 2-3 Weeks after that Ill get a Surgery date. WHoa!!!!!

Louis, Hey sweetie....~hugs~ I am glad you took the matter into your own hands and went down yourself, they would just sit on it....:shrugs: I am so happy that you are getting so close hun.... It will be here before you know it..... So by July 1st you should have all your paperwork in and waiting for the Ins Appoval......EKKKKK.....~big smile~ I am so happy for you hun.... Hmmmm....since I'm STILL pre-op at least for a few more days (again) I think the worse part of recovery would be to get put under anesthesia again only to awaken and find out they didn't do the surgery AGAIN. That would really suck. I'm not sure what I won't like after surgery. I think when I'm liquids I'll miss chewing foods. I'm sure I'll think of something next week . Love to all...Deb

Debra, WOW you are soooo close.... How are you feeling hun? I am sure this time it will go without a hitch. I will keep ya in my prayers and thoughts hun.....~Hugs~ Yeah thank goodness I only had to do that the day before surgery and the day after, then onto mushy foods which has its own drawbacks but I know my insides are healing...
