Hi guys..... Well I wore my FAVORITE pair of jeans to work today and everyone yelled at me!!! They all told me they were to big and to get rid of them.... BUT....I love these jeans.....You know the pair!!! The ones that you look good in even on a PMS day!!! They are from Old Navy and yeah they're a 16 and I'm almost in a 12 BUT I love em"!!! So I told them at work I would retire them and just wear them at home.... Yeah I should be happy they are too big but I'm not..... Have a good night all!! Karry 311/189/167 goal

Yknow, I was just mentioning this to someone the other day. I have a wardrobe from size 9 to size 28 already. As I lose weight, I just start slipping into clothes I wore 10 years ago after I had lost a lot of weight (even though I started regaining 8 years ago) ... Every once in a while I hit something on the way back down that just feels so good to slip back into and within a month, it's too big. It's fun to get thin again but there are a few choice items that are not replaceable in lower sizes and bidding adieu to them is bittersweet! So I hear ya, Kiddo ... But dang ... If you're a 12 ... Time to let the 16s go and do your best to enjoy the ride!

I really had to laugh when I read this one...you must have been reading my mind! Last night, as one of my pre-op to-dos, I started pulling out all of my storage bags with clothes from size 12 to 18W (the ones I don't fit now!). I started weeding them into size piles, and I'm planning on putting each size in it's own bag so I can pull each out for a new wardrobe as I lose weight! Now, some of those 80's clothes are a little out of date...but I have to get into them 1 more time before I toss them!! I really can't wait for an excuse to buy a new wardrobe, but I'll make these work for the short term. Thanks for making me !!! Alison

I can't believe you're so organized as to do that pre surgery!! I spent the day yesterday going through the many sizes in my closet. Today, one bag went to the dump, one bag went to the Salvation Army, one pile is in the sewing room for hemming and the ones that actually fit are hanging in the closet. I had some moments when I wanted to cry - like the wool pantsuit with the tags still on that finally fits, but won't when next winter arrives. That one's going with a few others to the consignment shop. I was informed at work that I have to stop wearing the clothes I wore before the surgery. Today, I'm wearing a pair of jeans that have to be 10 years old! They have a drawstring waist and I actually had to draw the string to keep them up. I'm lovin' it! Cheryl
