3 days post-op and home

Hi y'all I came home wednesday evening around 5:30PM I feel like a train wreck and I am having a bit of trouble gettting my fluids in and an even harder time drinking the protein Not sure what I should do. I managed to get down a low-carb slim fast shake today but it took me forever. I even tried the unjury in my crystal light......YUCK it was so gross I think I drank 3 ounces. Any suggestions? I tried the protein samples pre-op and I hated them then and I hate them even more now. Not sure what I am going to do. I know that I am not supposed to drink the low-carb slim fast but I need to find protein somehow. Oh geezzz Any help would be great!! Thanks DonnaMarie

I drink unjury and mix it with skim milk plus or soy milk. Try added some splenda to it to sweeten it up or some SF syrups. Another protein powder I just love is Isopure zero carb vanilla and low carb chocolate. I love them and have no problem drinking them, Good luck to you. Beth

Donna Marie, I am still pre-op but wanted to wish you the best in your recovery.... I am glad you are home and I would guess more comfortable then being in the hospital..... Wish you all the luck hun and maybe someone can offer some info... Take care Debra P
