Had first post-op surgeon visit yesterday

He took out the drain (thank God--I can get a decent night's sleep now ). I also got permission to try a little bit of mashed potatoes...and baby food (my three little nieces thought that one was realllly funny). But the real good news was when they put me on the scale...and I found out I'd lost 35 pounds since my last pre-op office visit . I know that this was the best thing for me, and I know it will work in the end...but it was oh so nice to see some payoff right there in front of my eyes .

hi barry great news and results! keep going and stay positive! those mashed potatos will taste the best that they ever have! once you start introducing new foods they taste wonderful! (i can no longer eat applesauce due to all the pills i had to take crushed in it! yuck!) enjoy the wonderful weather! muah! shea
