Hi Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well... I for one am so glad spring is here... It dawned on me today how much more energy I have since I've dropped some of the weight... I walk all over the mall now and stores without my knees killing me or my back hurting... I'm really feeling great and am so thankful I did this for myself!! I've had to buy some new clothes because my others have been so baggy and some even were falling off... I'm wearing my fiances jeans now... LOL... Who'd have thunk it? He's next in line for the surgery so I hope it all goes as well for him... He's got much worse problems than I had so I pray do as well... WLS has saved my life for sure!! When I began my journey last April I weighed a whopping 423 lbs... I lost 20 lbs prior to surgery due to my gall bladder (I was soooo sick!!)... The morning of surgery I weighed 403 lbs and was so miserable! As of last Friday at the docs office I weighed 320 lbs and this is the lightest I have been in like 12 years! This is a starting weight for some but you cannot imagine how great this feels to me... I am even shopping at Wal-Mart and regular stores like that now... I used to have to order everything I wore online... Never again!!! I really really really do feel great folks and just had to share! I am enjoying life so much more instead of just sitting back on the sidelines and watching everyone else... My fiance and I are going to 2 amusement parks this summer/fall and for once I don't think I'll have to be as worried if I'll fit my butt in the seats... Wooo hooo!! I'm so excited!! Life is truly good! I thank God everyday for this surgery and for Dr. Kim... He has truly saved my life... I'm far from being at goal but I know I WILL get there... Ok enough horn tooting now... God bless ya all!! For anyone who is in the process of getting your approval... Keep fighting even if they deny you the first time!! Never give up!! Much love to my AMOS family, Chelle In NNY -83

Hi Michelle, So glad you are feeling good... you are right about this surgery, it truely gives you a second chance on life. It's soo amazing the things I can do now that used to be a stuggle. I have 2 small children and just being able to be on the floor with then and play and then get back up with out looking like a beached whale is a huge plus for me. To be able to shop in a store and not have to go to a plus size section is also a major plus. So keep up the positive attitude! It's nice to know things are going well for others. Good luck with your husbands surgery. I don't like heights so ride a rollercoaster for me girl!!! Take Care, Karry 311/197/167 goal
