I AM FINALLY HOME!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! I had my surgery on April 4th. The surgery went well. I did have a serious reaction to the spinal anesthesia. I was suffering from severe spinal headaches.. the pain is indescribable!!! I had to lay flat on my back for 5 days in constant pain... they tried everything... all kinds of pain medicine. In the long run i think time is the only thing that helped. I am home now spent 7 days in the Hospital. Everyday it gets a bit better. I am up and walking. But I get dizzy quickly. One thing that is a bit annoying is that I am constantly THIRSTY!!! I suck on ice chips all day... Any Suggestions??? Well i am glad to be on the losing side finally! I am Down 22lbs! WOW well it is good to be back Thanks for all of your help! Dina

Dina, Glad to hear everything went well, except for the headaches. Everyday does get better. I too was very dizzy when I got up, but I am now 2.5 weeks post op and it is not as bad! I still am thirsty though! I just keep sipping the coldes****er I can! It will get better! Best of Luck!
