kidney problems & WLS???

I have a kidney problem called nephropathy. Is there anyone out there that has this, and had the wieght loss surgery? Can you tell me if it helped you or can you tell me anything???

Good Morning Bonnie I wish I could answer that question for you but I can't....I hope someone will answer it for you, and have you spoke to your surgeon about this.... if so what did he say and what does he think? Thanks Christine...I have talked to the surgeon about it and I have an appointment with my kidney Dr. tomarrow (the 4th) so I'm waiting to see what he's going to say. I would think that WLS would be a good thing for my nephropathy, so hopefully he'll agree. I am scheduled for May 3rd. You just had yours in January? How have you done?
