It's official......denied

Debra Thank you for your kind thoughts. I remember when you were denied and it is just such a downer when you are all prepared. I am lucky they accepted the 3 months I did have from 2003. I think it will start to go faster once the weather gets warm so I can get outside and do things. Good luck with your final weigh in and surgeon appt. It will be here before you know it. I am going to ask to be pencilled in after my next nutritionist appt. My nutritionist is in my surgeon's office and my PCP is upstairs in the same building. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. You called it Brenda! You knew they would have you start that program. Good thinking for you to start it early! I am sure with all the appointments you will be having the next couple of months, the time will go by pretty fast! (((hugs))) Tara

Tara: Yeah, I just had a gut feeling they were going to make me do at least 3 months. I only have to see my PCP 2x more and Colleen 2x more. I go today to my first exercise training. I plan on having him send monthly reports to both of them. The exercise will only be for 2 days in March, all of April and 1/2 of May, but as long as I discuss exercise with my PCP and it is in his office notes, I am covered. Hi Brenda Well you did anticipate it, and got started with you supervised diet so it is only a matter of time, just never give up the good fight for you health and happiness..... Christine Hi! Thank you for your comforting words. Sometimes it pays to go with you "gut feelings". I am glad I did this time. I won't give up because I know this is the only way I have to be able to have a healthy lifestyle. I thank God for my AMOS family and all the friends I have met here. I really know I can make it through these obstacles because of the encouragement you all give to me. Thank you all for being so wonderful. Especially you, Christine, and Debra Peace. Hey there Brenda! I am so sorry you were denied Remember Brenda don't ever give up the fight! You will have this surgery they just try to discourage you and make you feel like you don't deserve it. Evelyn Thank you for your encouragement. Without the friends I have made here, I probably would have given up. I am more determined than ever to have the surgery. Nothing will discourage me.
