Terri, Is the consistency you use for food such as mashed potatoes, etc too thick? Are you eating slow enough and/or using a baby spoon to ensure small enough bites? I have been able to eat almost anything without a problem. Heavier foods I can eat less of (or I get sickish), I dont actually throw up but I wish I could at times . Fish tends to be one of those foods I cant eat much of. Cottage cheese, sugar free pudding, etc I can eat 1/2 cup comfortably. Carb smart creamsicles sit well . I eat 3 meals plus an eve snack which is usually creamsicle, sf pudding. I hope you find the right foods to satisfy you and help you get what you need and lose weight all at the same time...they are out there! I went to GNC today and got protein drink powder mix with 40GM protein per serving. I got mixed berry. Hope it tastes well. If it does, I can get a full days protein in one shake! Do you have any other info on Gina that might help me to contact her? Best wishes and youre right...we CAN do this...support is the biggest part...hubby, friends, family. I will keep my eyes open for new ideas for you. Take Care, Roxanne

Roxanne, I am ok with soft foods, the puddings, jello, and yogurt. Today I had cream of wheat again and it was horrible. I think I am now officially sick of it. Have to find something new. To get Gina, I see on my site there is a place to click on it to have her help with websites, so go there to get her. I looked at your website. When did you have surgery? I was thinking it was kind of near mine. I also see we have a lot in common. My husband is an avid hunter and fisherman. I don't hunt, but I let him buy guns.. LOL. I love fishing. Where is Marcy located near? I have 3 daughters plus 2 step daughters. I have 3 grandkids with another on the way. Grandkids are the greatest. I hardly can believe I am 41 and have grandchildren, but... at least if I lose this weight, I'll be able to get around and have more fun with them. Have a good weekend, Terri

Terri, My surgery was January 26th, 2005. I know the feeling of being "sick" of something! (I now call broth the B word) I cant even say it or I get nauseated! I have 3 sons. oldest is 20(going to make me a grandma in May), middle is 16, and youngest is 6. I will be 40 in July and I also dont consider myself old enough to be a grandma. We very much enjoy fishing, but neither of us hunt. We also enjoy 4 wheeling, and camping. I am a nurse, LPN, in a geriatric facility. I hope to someday do acute care, ultimately I want to do oncology. I made some Keto Pancakes for breakfast this AM which for 4, 4" pancakes has 14 grams protein, 1 gram sugar, and in original directions has 210 calories and 1gm fat, but it required 2 TBSP oil which I substituted 2 TBSP sugar free Granny Smith applesauce, so it altered the calories and fat to my benefit and added a hint of the applesauce...I added I cant believe its not butter spray which is just about zero everything, and sugar free syrup. I was only able to eat 2 of the pancakes....and it was VERY good, and different! I am going to walmart today to shop for lunch foods, because of returning back to work wed. Hope to hear back from you. Take Care, Roxanne
