3 month follow up
Well it was actually 3 1/2 months and I am officially down 80 pounds!!! I've weighed myself at home but was waiting for the doctor for the official number. Believe it or not I am now really feeling the difference, I guess because I had gotten so big. I am not even down to pre-pregnancy weight yet but I am getting there. This is a tough road but it is getting easier everyday!!!
Thanks, Tina
Hi Tina,
Weight is coming off VERY slowly I am 5 weeks out and down 16#. I do light housework , etc, but have not yet gotten the approval for exercise yet, I return to work March 9th, and will then ask my doctor about joining Curves and resuming my bowling league. I eat by the book also, I am getting a little nervous about going on a regular diet soon.

Roxanne,
By your pic, you look small to me. My dietician told me yesterday that those who don't have as much to lose will lose weight more slowly than those with more to lose. If you remember, we chatted before on how frustrating it is to see others lose a lot while the scales barely moved for us. I'm just going to keep plugging along knowing that I am doing what I am supposed to. When it is time, it will come off.
Terri
Hi TerrI,
My pre op weight, when I started the pre op process was 233#. I had to lose 11# for insurance requirements, which I did. My weight the day of my surgery(Jan 26, 2005) was 221#. My weight 1 week post op was 210#, which held steady until last week I was down another 5#, which I have held at 205# for 1 week. It makes sense that the less you have to lose the longer time it will take. I, too, will keep plugging along!
I have accumulated some recipes if you are interested let me know.
Take Care,
Roxanne
