Date scheduled

I just got the news that my surgery has been scheduled for May 9th at 7:30. I am still on cloud 9. I can not believe that this is finally going to happen. I think this is the greatest mothers day gift I can give myself. Take care everyone Debbie

Hi Deb, First congrad on your surgery date.I was reading your BIO and i wanted to know why did it take so long for your insurance approval? i am also in the process of having surgery with Howard Simon i have my last appt in March and marcy said then they will send to my insurance company. I also wonder why May i guess he is booked up solid you would think you would have it either in March/April since everything is done with you? I was hoping to have surgery around May so i guess i have to keep my finger cross????? Maybe i should have stuck with Dr.weiss..lol not so booked up...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tracey,

Hi Tracey, When I stopped in the office last week (Friday) to drop off my report from my endoscopy they told me they were sending in my paper work. I asked where the booking for Dr. Simon looked and they said at this point it looked like the end of May first part of June. I was hoping for earlier in May also, but Dr. Simon is worth the wait. I'm so happy for you Debbie. I called my insurance company today and they said they have the paper work and it's pending review right now. So I'm hoping I hear something next week so we can get this scheduled. Patience is the hardest part of this whole process. Deb

Hi, Debbie...I just got my scheduled date with Dr. Simon as well!! My "rebirth" is April 5, 2005. I, too, can't wait and am also on cloud 9...I still am pinching myself! Cindy
