Opinion on a Surgeon

Hi Family, I was just interested in ppl's input on Dr. Pomp in NYC. I am meeting with him for a consultation on Feb. 28th, and am strongly leaning toward the Lap DS. Any advice, input, experience, or opinions on him, the hospital or the surgery!! It would be appreciated!! Thanks everyone!! *HUGS* Marcie

Hi Marcy, I have my surgery (lap rny) with Dr. Pomp on 12/9/04. I thought he was wonderful. He really takes the time to go over everything with you. Also, everyone in his office was great. You can read my profile for some of my hospital experience. Overall, it wasn't bad, especially since it was my first surgery and I really didn't know what to expect.
