Hello family, Can you tell me what is involved in the Pulm Eval, that is my next things on my list and the endoscope....... As usual, I feel I can better handle the Apt if I kind of have an idea what is involved in the visit. I have this damn white coat syndrome(sp?) and it drives me crazy. I can get nervous just going to the Dr to weigh in..... well thanks for any help anyone can give me...... As usual my AMOS family...THANKS. Debra P

Hi Debra! Great to see you getting through all of this gruesome and aggrevating testing. My Pulmonary appt consisted of 3 different breathing tests. The Pulmonologist had me breath into a tube, one test was at a rapid pace, the next blow as hard and fast as I could, and then the last was to see how much air I could intake and how long it took to fully expand my lungs. It took all of 15 minutes. Hope this helps. Jalonda

Hi Deb, My test was the same as JP except I did one set of three without anything and one after a nebulizer treatment. In addition, they took blood to measure the oxygen and gases. No biggie. I have just the endoscopy to go = plus my nicotine screen. The bloodwork is Monday at my PCP and the endoscopy is 2/24. Then I can finally submit for approval. Cheryl
