i need an angel

i want to have surgery,in a couple of months. i am not nervous or scared.i have pain in my joins because im so heavy.i have been over weight all my life.i am the mother of two girls agea 10 and 21 yrs. i home school my daughter.i am praying my insurance company ,blue cross blue sheild says yes,i really want this.please give me any suggesions that might help me.kaneen

hi kelly, thank you for your note . i am 44 just as of couple of weeks ago and feel 90 at times . i would like to know if you had lap you know the surgery with the six little whole in the stomach.was you surgery painful and if so for how long.i have had 2 c seccions , tubelplasty and a histo.i have had that kind of pain, is this as bad or worse ? i know i am ready to change my life, and this would be a big change . i am 4'11'' ,218lb ,a ball with legs, that are stiff most of the time, lots of joint pain.i pray that this will not take long, i go on march 1 2005 to meet with the doctor. please pray for me , i really want this, again thank you .if you have time to spare please be my angel.kaneen

hi kaneen ok where do i start i did have lad and it was a walk in the park pain wise, i had all my kids reg. and my gallbladder out and vaginal histo.and lap wls, was nothing ! i had wls lap,on nov.7 and a leak went back in the 9th(3 hole the size of a pea) i was only the third patent at that time for my dr. to try but it went well came home on the 12th and went bowling with my hubby(i watched )but felt good enoght to go, it kind just felt like a punch in the gut not that painful , i was back to work doing my paper work in 11days and back to full duty(i was a manager of a store ) in about 3weeks felt good the surgery was pretty easy ! i,m38 i,m 5/10 started at 346now 221 i wear size 12/16 use to be 28/30 i,m build more pear shaped ,but now i still have a big butti have no regrates about wls lost 125 about 80 with out trying the rest i work at , good luck and god bless kelly
