Hi...newbie in NY

Hello evry1. This site is extraordinary. I am in the beginning steps of considering Gastric Banding. I know thru the grapevine they do it and accept medicaid. My bmi is 46.4. I just turned 30 yesterday. I am in upstate NY. About an hour from Stephanie in Binghamton. I am kinda nervous to take the first step, but I will call 2morrow. Amanda

Hi Amanda! This site IS Great! There is so much information here. The people on this site are so supportive. If you ever have a question, don't hesitate to ask! hello amanda, well my surgery is january 31st and it took me a long time to get the ball moving i am in buffalo new york..in my area we are blesses to have 3 surgeons that do this type of surgery. so i had a choice. but anyhow i was scared as well it takes alot of courage to even make that 1st call...so congratulations(misspell?) julie k
