East Meadow NY anyone???

I'm in Massapequa, which is close to East Meadow. My surgeon is Dr. Molave Adaniel in W. Islip (he did my surgery at Southside Hospital in Bayshore). There are a few support groups near there, but I know there are others (not related to my doc's practice) nearer to us. Dr. Garber has a group that meets in the Mercy League Lounge in Rockville Center and usually has one in Roslyn, too. There's one in Syosset (I don't know who sponsors that one, other than the hospital it's at) that I'm trying to find out about right now. I'll try to remember to let you know what I find out. Hi. I am in N. Babylon which is about 20 min from East Meadow. My surgeon is Dr. Geiss in Syosset. Thats about 10 min from you. He has a support group on the 1st tues of every month. Hope you can make it. Merry Christmas.

Hi, I live in Huntington. My surg. is scheduled for 2/16...Gellman, at North Shore. You might want to check out the Weight Management Dept. based at North Shore Hospital in New Hyde Park (I think - I stink at directions). They have monthly post op meetings and offer nutritional pre and post op classes...think those are $20 a pop. Haven't made it to those yet but might be worth the money. Need to find a meeting in Suffolk. Anyone know of one? Used to have a boyfriend stationed at Camp Lejeune...that where you're coming from? Deb
