OT: Long Island woke up to SNOW! :)

Our first snow fall of the season! We woke up to an exciting view of snow coming down outside and sticking! Mostly gone now due to the sunshine---Maybe this is a sign of "SNOW DAYS" to come! Hope we have a white Christmas... Let it snow-Let it snow-Let it snow! Marianne

What!?! And I missed it? Usually we get obliterated here on the north shore, and I didn't see one flake this morning. Wow... I'd better tune up that snowblower! A sign of things to come? Stephanie No Snow in Rocky Point??? I don't live far from you--also on the north shore--I live in Lake Grove about 1 mile from the Smithaven Mall. I can't believe it---it kept snowing here until about 10 AM-- Marianne

Hey Steph~~~ You missed it--You missed it--it all gone now!! I live on the north shore, Northport and we had a beautiful covering of snow!!! Now for the "other" part that comes with the snow--it's freezing cold and the wind is blowing! And of course I can't get warm, so I am back home!! I do think we just might have a repeat of last year. So I am headed back out today and find me a very warm coat---one of those puffy ones!! Hope your feeling and doing great!!!

Hey Marianne, I must have brought the snow with me as I came down from upstate NY with it snowing the other day and we left yesterday. It freezing up here now ,even with the sun shinning....Can you send some more snow up here??? All the Best! Tracey
