MISS YOU ALL - JUST MY OWN UPDATE
Unbelievable I never have the time to write to the board, but I am reading and proud of all my fellow AMOS - at the moment I only had 1 incident and that was low iron, but its my fault I hate chewing those pills However, after getting low lab readings it scared back on track. I am 11 months post-op down 120 pounds - I feel its been slow, but looking at the entire picture, its been amazingly fast, and even if I'd only lost 20 or 80 pounds I'd be a lot happier and healthier than I was. Coming to the BIG Anniversary date soon - I refuse to put any deadline or weight goal - I'm just happy to breathe easily and walk stronger.
My and thoughts are with you all - Pre-ops waiting to dates and Post-Ops becoming anxious or afraid at times, give yourselves a standing ovation YOU"RE THE GREATEST FOR TAKING THAT STEP TO A BETTER LIFE
Hello Anna
It is so good to see you post. I came across your profile a few months ago when I was looking for a surgeon. Reading your profile played a major role in selecting my surgeon, Jonathon Wong. He is a wonderful doctor and he's highly confident. He now works out of Long Island College and no longer in Queens.
Congratulations on your weight loss. 120 lbs is a remarkable accomplishment. Hopefully in the next several months I can lose around 110 lbs. Until then, I will take it one day at a time.
Have a wonderful and blessed week.
Glenda
