Dr. says I......

can't gain 1# from now through surgery date, if I do I can't have the surgery until my weight is stable ,,,I know it's for my own good! I'm not complaining, just venting a little. I'm on my way to a happier life,,

You're lucky, there are a lot of people on here that had to lose a substantial amount before the surgery! I was bad, I gained.

it's so hard when you are restricted like that. Now I want to have things just because, just a mind game I guess. Thanks for responding Jo

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh i know im going to to hear something like that i need to find out what my dr. will do.....someone i know going to a different dr. out her on southbeach and said she MUST loose 20 lbs. 1st befor the srug......if we could do it we wouldnt be here but i understand they want to see how comminted we are to this well anyhow...good luck hun.. you can do it!!!

Hi Jo. I'm up in your neck of the woods, and my surgeon has the same policy....Dr. Cerebora, Dr. Yatco & Dr. Kaul......I was able to lose 10 lbs, then have my "last meal" without stresing. I wasn't weighed the am of surgery....... Best wishes! Claudia

hey Claudia that is the Dr.'s group i'm going to :. They all seemed so nice when I met them. I had my nuclear stress test done today , and all of my other testing scheduled within the next 2 wks.It's going faster than I thought it would. Thanks for your support ,, I hope your feeling well! Jo
