I am down 38 pd in 1 month. My question is being out 1 month can I start eating "Health choice dinners"? or other frozen low calorie dinners? I have eaten turkey, ham on crackers but I really don't know what i should eat to help continue to lose the weight??? Thanks

Hi Nina, I live near you. I am 3 months post-op and I haven't tried any frozen dinners. You have to be very careful because they all have a lot of sodium. Did your doctor give you a food plan to follow? In addition to the food I eat, I also have protein bars, protein shakes or the Isopure liquid protein. Jackie

Nina - Best answer I think any of us can give you would be to check with your surgeon, or surgeon's office and follow whatever food plan they have. If they had you see a nutritionist or dietician (sp) then call them too. Most surgeons have different post-op protocols that they want you to follow, especially for the first 2-3 months, very closely so that you don't do something to damage the healing pouch or eat something before your stressed-out and healing system can handle it.. The best thing to continue to lose the weight is to start or continue your exercise program and follow the food plan your surgeon recommends for now... Good luck! ...Nick
