Hiya ladies. I have a question for you.. I know that our periods get messed up with rapid weight loss, but now that things are slowing down should'nt things be getting back to normal? I really had no problems when the weight was coming off fast, However now that things have slowed down my period has a mind of its own and presents itself ever 2-3 weeks and this is going to drive me over the edge! it has been 17 days since aunt flow was on my doorstep last. Sorry to present you all with this subject. I was just wondering if anyone else was having the same or similar problems? Thanks for listening Lee

Hi Lee, Funny that you ask that. I was wondering if I will have mine back.. I haven't seen it for a year and a half. I hope not. Does anyone know about that?

Donna, Mine had been slowing down. I had four periods in the year before my surgery, but I've had three since my surgery. So it may very well happen! ...and I was so looking forward to menopause!

Leeanne, I have to say that I can not answer that question since I am pre-op but I can offer my experience with dealing with irregular periods...... I have always had problems with having a regular period and since I have added Soy Protein into my diet I have been so regular that it is weird, I did some research on it and there is a hormone that is in the Soy that help us women.......Just a thought, maybe add some Soy Protein into your diet........ Hoping this might help!..... Debra Peace
