hi all, i am new to the site and even newer to posting! =) i am in the process of completing my testing for rny and it is starting to really hit me. i once read on a board here from a post-op patient that you should appreciate all of the procedures you are going through now. it prepares you for the commitment you are going to make as the "new you". boy, is that hitting home now! lol i have completed all of my testing except for the sleep study which is scheduled for monday night and my follow-up with my surgeon is wednesday. so if all goes as planned, my letter for approval will be sent this week to the insurance company!! may i just say:"EEEEEEEeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!" i am looking forward to sharing my experiences with all of you and hope that i can offer the same support to others as you have all given to me. knowingly or not! thanks again to all of you!!!! shea =)

Shea, I finished my tests in the beginning of August..and it *did take an eternity to get my date..but looking back on that time now, I needed it to prepare. Sit back, enjoy the prep, and get yourself ready! Then join us on the losing side! Claudia

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! me 2. I am happy 4 your process coming to an end. take a moment and read my profile. I am waiting 4 my date. it has been 3 wks. because I have sleep apnea, my surgeons didn't want to process without knowing that my CPAP breathing machine was in my home. It arrives tomorrow. THANK GOD! so I should have a date by the end of the week! I am so excited to finally join the "losers" on the site. keep up the good work and may God protect you through your journey ahead. peace friend, martine Harlem, NYC
