MVP Insurance

Hi, my name is Deborah and I'm from Ulster County, New York.  I recently met with a bariatric surgeon about WLS.  My BMI is 36 and I don't have any co-morbidities that would qualify me for coverage through my MVP insurance, but my doctor is sending me for a sleep apnea test, which is my only hope and I'm having the test this coming Thursday evening. I'm 43 and a single parent of a severely autistic child.  In addition to that I have multi level degenerative disc disease, prior back surgery and arthritis at multi levels throughout my back/neck, but none of that falls under the qualifications for approval through MVP.  Does anyone have any experience in dealing with MVP and any advice on how to get an approval?  I'd appreciate any advice anyone can offer.
