10 years post op, long islanders out there?

Looking for ppl that understand what we go thru. Need a wls buddy. 30 n over wld be even better.

10 years ago when I had my surgery this website was so much better, where is everyone? Anyway, if anyone knows of any wls support groups on Long Island ny, please share.

Good Samaritan in Bay Shore has a support group every other Monday Night.  You can call information line for dates.  They are a great support group of pre and post-ops.  They accept people from any doctor.  I do attend this group with my wife as time allows.

Hi, I live out in Eastern Suffolk. I am scheduled for surgery 11/18. I know there is a support group meeting inSayville at the Sayville library monthly. I believe the website is LIPO.com. By the way I am ovwer 30...way over, just turned 54. Still could use a friend though.

Winthrop surgical has support groups that meet in mineola and patchogue once or twice a month. I gave heard nice things.
