I met dr. hoffman for revision consultation from the band to sleeve. He didn't do my original sleeve. I like him very much and am scheduled for a revision 7/11.
Has anyone had him do their sleeves? Especially revisions?
i had a band to sleeve revision and yes it was done in 1 surgery. it went well and have been very happy. i did well with the band. but i like the idea of not having a foreign object in my body. dr hoffman is great, very supportive
Just curious did you know he was gonna do it in one surgery? He told me he probably would have me wait 6 weeks to do the sleeve due to scar tissue. I really hope I don't have to go in twice!
he told me he would. i really wanted another band and that he couldnt promise me. but i was only his 2nd patient that he did a revision on and they have changed things. that may be one of those things and maybe because he didnt do your original surgery he doesnt want to commit
