Anyone from the Binghamton area?

I just had my surgery on January 4.  I had my surgury at Arnot but they are closing.  I'd love to find people in this area who also have had it or learn about a local support group.  Thanks

We have a support group in Ithaca. We meet Monday nights from 6 pm - 8 pm at Cayuga Medical Center.

The people are friendly and welcome new folks.

Hi,
   I also had my surgery at Arnot, almost a year ago. we have a support group that meets at the vestal library every 3rd Wednesday of the month 6:30-8pm. Because the office is closing this group will only meet up to august. The facilitator did say he will have a plan by august for our group to continue on somehow. We are definitely a fun bunch and no question is stupid and no topic sacred....LOL. Check it out sometime, the more the merrier.

  I am Teri Stoel, and I run a ObesityHelp.com affliated support group that meets in the Vestal Library twice a month (the second Wednesday at 5:30 pm and the fourth Wednesday at 9:30 am).  If you are interested please feel free to join us.  We have people involved from every program in the area and more than willing to add new people.
